With gas at $1.25 per litre, I've calculated that it costs me $1.00 every 10 km to drive my Toyota Matrix.
That means I spend $6.00/day in gas just to get to work.
When I was training in Orangeville the round-trip cost was $17... from work on Wednesdays it was $20. Ouch.
The cost to drive vans, trucks & SUVs that fit crates in the back must be through the roof and it's only going to get worse. Thankfully I sold my van a few years back.
Our country is so large and spread-out that most of us have to hit the road to train & trial. Does anyone have a plan for the future?
