Learning the stairs

Going down is harder than going up!

Frisbee Smile!

Puppy version of "Capture the Kong"

Here is a 9.1mb video of Bullet and Foxy playing "Capture the Kong" in the back yard. Bullet does a great job of toning things down for puppies.

Air Bullet and Floating Glory

We had guests for supper so I thought I'd burn the Schnauzer's energy with some frisbee earlier in the day.

We're ready!

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's Super Bullet! All he's missing is the cape.

My "land-shark". Isn't he adorable :)

One hour of heavy duty running and jumping did not tire them out. Our guest made the mistake of throwing the ball Bullet shoved in his lap... sucker! We eventually had to take the ball away, he really can play forever.

It's the wrong colour!

Hell freezing over

You have me to thank for the frostbite conditions. New puppy = the temperature plunging. Summer makes house training more comfortable than winter does, that's for sure.

Introducing Foxy

She's cute, isn't she?

She came into our house and started exploring... with her mouth! :)

Ahh, puppies.

The case of the disappearing clickers...

Can someone tell me where they go? It truly is a mystery.

Traded in for a newer, younger model.

Crispin is officially in school and our house seems much emptier. He was a quiet dog but you still notice the difference when you go from three down to two.

While dropping him off at NSD they happened to have an adorable golden/lab X puppy in the office who was waiting for her foster home to pick her up.

Her sister was still in need of a foster home. (did I say was?) Well you see.... the funny thing was, I found myself as a foster home without a foster dog! How could I say no?

We pick her up on Friday. She's from the "F" litter so I picked the first name that came to mind. Foxy. So Foxy she is!

Crispin's last night

Tomorrow is the big day for Crispin!

NSD asks that when you return the dog you supply them with an information sheet. This lets them know the dog's routine, habits, favorite things, what to watch for, etc. All the basics to help Crispin settle in his weekend, and eventually, new home.

I'm stuck! The ones I've seen have been have been written in a very "cutesy" style.
I don't do cute.
Those who know me will be the first to agree with this... yet I still feel compelled to write in that style.

January in Ontario?

Where is all the snow?

Oh, there's some. Doesn't quite cut it for X-country skiing though.

Crispin's last week with us

We picked a 10 month old lab puppy up from NSD in July. It doesn't seem that long ago, but 6 months have passed us by and it's time for his advanced training. He goes back on Monday. We've noticed a big difference in him, he's matured, settled and become part of our pack.

What are your thoughts on him? Yay or nay?
